THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE AIMS TO PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY SERVICE WHERE,
AS A PATIENT YOU:
are treated courteously at all times;
are given an appointment on the day of request if your need is urgent;
can expect to be given a routine appointment within 48 hours of request;
are seen within 30 minutes of your appointment, or be given an explanation about the delay;
can speak to any member of staff in private if you ask to do so;
have your medical information held at the surgery treated in confidence;
are given a full explanation about your treatment; and
can ask the receptionist to arrange for you to speak to the doctor or nurse directly if you need to.
AS A PATIENT OF THIS PRACTICE WE ASK THAT YOU HELP US GIVE YOU A QUALITY SERVICE BY:
treating staff politely;
only asking for an urgent appointment if you need one;
arriving on time for your appointment;
cancelling your appointment if you are unable to attend;
ringing, whenever possible, before 10 am, if you or a member of your family think a home visit may be necessary;
only asking for a visit outside surgery hours in an emergency;
letting the practice manager know if you are unhappy with any of the services we offer, and
talking to the doctor if you are unhappy about your treatment.
